Earn 20%
You earn 20% of each referred order before sales tax. After a 30-day hold, we pay you by PayPal once you've earned $25.
The terms, in plain words
- 20% commission on your referred friend's first order, calculated before sales tax. One time, not recurring.
- Your friends save 10%. Anyone who orders through your link gets 10% off their first order automatically. No code needed.
- 30-day link window. If they order within 30 days of clicking your link, it counts for you.
- 30-day hold. Commissions become payable 30 days after the order.
- Refunds cancel the commission. If the order is refunded during the hold, there's no commission on it.
- No self-referrals. Your own orders don't earn a commission.
- PayPal payouts once your payable balance reaches $25.
- Be upfront. Let people know you earn a commission when you share your link.

Partner questions
When do I get paid?
Each commission is held for 30 days after the order (the same window as our money-back guarantee). After that it's ready to pay, and we send it to your PayPal account once your ready balance reaches $25. Anything under $25 rolls over until you get there.
What if the order is refunded?
If the order is refunded during the 30-day hold, the commission is cancelled. That's the only reason a commission goes away.
Can I refer myself?
No. Orders you place yourself through your own link don't earn a commission. Share it with friends, family, and followers instead.
Does my friend get a discount?
Yes. Friends who arrive through your link get 10% off their first order, applied automatically at checkout. They don't need a code.
How does my link track orders?
When someone clicks your link, we remember it on their browser for 30 days. If they order in that time, the order counts for you, even if they come back later without the link.
Is it recurring?
No. You earn 20% once, on your referred friend's first order. There are no subscriptions on Dear Santa, so there's nothing to renew.
How much does a typical order earn?
About $2.70 on a $14.99 video and $4.50 on a $24.99 Christmas Bundle (after your friend's 10% off), and more when they add siblings. Commissions are calculated on what your friend pays, before sales tax.
Where do I see my clicks and earnings?
In your partner dashboard. You get it as soon as you join.
Do I need to tell people it's a referral link?
Yes, please. When you post your link, mention that you earn a commission (for example "I earn a little if you order"). It's the honest thing to do, and US law requires it for paid endorsements.
