How a Dear Santa video is made

  1. Tell us a little. First name, age on Christmas Day, one good deed, one wish. It takes about a minute.
  2. Santa records it. We write a one-of-a-kind script for your child, screen every word, and Santa records it.
  3. Check your inbox. A private link arrives by email. Watch, download, and play it whenever the moment feels right.

Dear Santa at a glance

Questions

What do I need to tell you?

Your child's first name, their age on Christmas Day, one good deed from this year, and one wish. You can add a sibling, pets, hometown, or favorite treat, and a phonetic spelling so Santa says the name right.

How long is the video?

About one minute. It is a standard MP4 that plays on any phone, tablet, computer, or TV.

How fast will I get it?

We show a live estimate next to the pay button (and again after you pay), based on how busy Santa's workshop is right now. On a normal day it's well under an hour; in the rush before Christmas it can take a few hours. Order by Dec 24 at noon PT for delivery by Christmas. Orders placed after that are still welcome, but the video may arrive after Christmas. If it hasn't arrived by the estimate, check your spam folder and then email us.

Who writes what Santa says?

Santa's workshop writes a fresh storybook script for each child from your details, checks it for anything unsuitable, and then Santa records it. No two videos are the same.

Is Santa a real actor?

No. Our Santa is an original AI-animated storybook character with a synthetic voice. We say so plainly so you can decide what is right for your family.
